Do you guys get EL 250 Eliminator ?
Sounds like a better candidate for FE champion than a Ninja since you seat lower.
Same engine anyway (maybe with smaller carbs or milder cams ?)

I would focus on finding out who did it. Its not like it was in a public lot, knowing it was a co-worker narrows it down a lot. If no one owns up to it voluntarily, find out if there are video cameras in the lot, and ask the manager to let you review them. If not, look for dents with paint marks the color of your bike on the bumpers in the parking lot.

It should be THEIR insurance paying for the repairs, not yours.

Their insurance company needs to pay replacement cost, not estimated value. How old the bike is and what it is worth is irrelevant.

Threaten their insurance with court if need be - I found a letter to the state insurance commissioner also gets their attention.

My coworker immediately contacted security when it happened, so no worries there.

I was actually thinking about filing a claim with through her insurance directly and seeing what i come up with.

The EL 250 Kawasaki is not sold in US. The preference among the Vetter Challenge riders has been for water cooled engines in the streamlined fairings.

Shame about the EL, it has the 6 speed box, the water cooling and if anything different on the engine it must be towards low end torque.
Did I mention seat height too ?

Most of the small cruisers (Honda, Suzuki, V-Star) have a seat height of 27 inches as this the minimum allowed by law in many states.

Well, I decided to accept the total loss settlement. They are picking up my Ninja in the next few days. It will be sad to see the bike go, for sure. So many memories and so much learned on the bike.
