93 Ciic VX For Sale

I am selling my 93 civic VX. It has 187K on it. Drivetrain is still stock and gets me 43MPG average and I have got 47+MPG on straight highway trips. Currently used as my commuter car and I put 80+ miles on it daily. I am the 2nd owner and have only had since April 2010. Selling because I just bought another one with A/C and a new paint job. Original white paint so it is a little faded and a few dings and dents from over the years. Small amount of Honda rust on the rear wheelwells. I do not have the original rims, it currently has 15" Acura rims on it. Please email me for pictures. If I have time later I will post some pictures. Asking $3,100 O.B.O.

I still look enviously at VX's. Lean burn would suit my typical driving style perfectly... but ... I'm going to stick with the Flea!

47 mpg highway - at what speeds?

Good luck with the sale.

65-70MPH on the Thruway. On my daily commute I get 41-43MPG's but, I do more like 75-80 and go up and over the Mohonk mountain in New Paltz, NY twice a day.

Lowered Price

Just lowered the price on my 92 VX to $2,700. I have gotten plenty of offers for around $2,000 from guys wanting to swap it out. Hoping to get a little more out of it from someone that will enjoy the mileage. Let me know if anyone is interested. Make me an offer.

I had one & was loving it, only had 117K & was getting 47mpg in the winter. Mine was not as clean as yours though. I was playing a gig on Feb 13 when I came out at 2:30 in the morning, someone stole it. I was an hour away from home too. They did find it a few week later stripped, Engine, 5sp trans, fenders, doors, hatch, they really hacked it up. So I just gave 'em my title.

Good luck on selling yours,
Dave
