Sheepdog 44 good pics - thanks for sharing them! I can't figure out what the one is with all the names and such on it. Was that just some kind of participant list?

That was the rally results list.

Bob was supposed to have the final list yesterday...I feel bad for continuing to bug him...

CrazyJerry, any images in particular you want? They are big, so hard to just send all.

Yes! Of course if I could get all the ones you took of the Centurion that would be excellent (love the rubbermaid shots - thanks! ) And, the last pic of the Mustang at the line. Since nobody seems to grasp the idea that your Mustang is better of fuel than my '07 Hyundai, I think I need that pic so I can print it out and they can see it's a real, full size, street stormer!!
I could send you a thumb drive if that would be easier.
Thanks,
CrazyJerry

Thanks for the pics everyone. I wish this was a little closer to my neck of the woods, I would love to participate in something like this. Who knows maybe I'll suck it up and have a road trip next year.

Did any of you record video of the event?

Having not been anywhere is a very long, long, time, it was really special. Even the trip there! Bob Gillespie and the volunteers made the entire check-in process pretty painless and straightforward really. Highly suggested

There are a couple of in-car track video clips on page 8 of the Centurion thread - not sure if that is what you are referring to though.

Since our real names will be on these anyway when they get published (Bob is hoping his guy can get it done by Monday), I will post this. I am going to write it out here, but use the known user names so if we get searched this won't pop for us. Not that I am hiding it, I am definitely not embarrassed, just better to be more cautious.

EX- Exhibition
Kevin Smith/Luke Deptula (198 mpg, Seven) & Changzuki/SheepDog44 (+/- 200 mpg, Centurion)
SH3- Stock Hybrid 3 Cylinder
Ron Hansen/Jeffrey Spreul (65.5 mpg, Insight)
SH4- Stock Hybrid 4 Cylinder
Rocco Rizzo/Luke Dickerson (62.87 mpg, Prius)
MH3- Modified Hybrid 3 Cylinder
Eric Dodge/Ryan Donton (67.6 mpg, Insight)
SPIH- Stock Plug In Hybrid
Brian Kiser/Jessica Peralta (63.7 mpg, Prius PHEV)
SP6G- Stock Production 6 Cylinder Gas
Dennis Karalow/Steve Clenenden (32.24 mpg, Cayman)
MP4G- Modified Production 4 Cylinder Gas
MLoveland78/Fabian Benger (75 mpg, Civic)
SP4G- Stock Production 4 Cylinder Gas
Gary Thomas/Jason Kast (39.93 mpg, Miata)
MP6G- Modified Production 6 Cylinder Gas
UltArc/UnderScore_22 (48.73 mpg, Mustang)
SP4D- Stock Production 4 Cylinder Diesel
Joseph Diuyer/Natalie Margie (68.8 mpg, Jetta)
MP8D- Modified Production 8 Cylinder Diesel
Jay Pomeroy/Elizabeth Pomeroy(22.73 mpg, F-250)

I was guessing the numbers in front of the winners spot was how many people that entered, but adding them all up only makes 35, and there was supposed to be ~43, seemed like more than 35 on the track. I am planning on making a more comprehensive write up of the FE portion when the full list is out.

If you were a winner, let me know so I can edit this with your username instead of real name- I could have sworn more ecomodders won there! (I know the SP4D have at least been here, but I don't know of them...so please let me know if we have more EcoM members on there! )

Oh great, they spelled my last name wrong! I'll have to have him correct it. I've been holding out too on commenting until the official results are published. I believe the truck with moon discs is a member. I'm really impressed with the Jetta driver beating out every hybrid car! Last years Alfred state driver was not there. It goes to show how much the nut behind the wheel makes all the difference.

Agreed. An Insight totally stripped out, with MIMA, and 1 inch ground clearance on the air dam should do a LOT better than 67 mpg- especially since a stock one did 65 under the exact same conditions.

The S10 should classify under the MP4G, and when we chatted he hit high 30's, ~37 if I remember correctly, and that's the same class as McLoveland. 75 mpg, C'mon son! That's so impressive! lol, his Civic whooped the diesels, hybrids, THE INSIGHTS, and was only ~15 away from the Cam car- basically a homebuilt XL1. Thank God my Mustang isn't a 4 banger...

McLoveland definitely showed how critical driving technique is compared to the vehicle. Don't get me wrong, he has built quite the vehicle, but when comparing it to the Alfred State Insight, it was the nut that crushed it.
