Nice choice of plates.
I admire your patience of repairing your controller after the computer mishap. I sent mine back to Paul for repairs after an error in judgment. It has been in the mail ten days either way.
I have six chargers on six batteries that turn on and charge automatically when the car is plugged in. Also a DC/DC converter charges the main battery only when the car is plugged in.

Speaking of chargers... I *rarely ever* plug the car in except when at the house (once in the last 6 months - and it was planned). Yet I *always* carry it in the car. Range anxiety much? I've been contemplating leaving the charger in the garage to save the 10 or 15 lbs.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Besides, with this car's range, if I ever found that I actually *needed* the charger, I know I wouldn't be far from home anyway

I installed the plates on the car.



On the front, that plate is just held in with two screws, in such a way that it bends just a little, and covers part of the old radiator lower air intake.

I know...... I don't drive this car very fast, but I still can't NOT take aerodynamics into consideration. Curved to match the bumper just looks better than flat!

Anyways, I might make some sort of a custom front mount that holds the plate and fills in the guppy mouth. That whole thing would then be removable for when the tow bar is in place.

How are you charging this car? I thought I saw you say you don't charge it at home? Where do you charge it and what would you say is the average cost per full charge? Thanx!!

No, the car is almost exclusively charged at home.

Lately, it's been mostly 10 mile trips, using about 3KWH to recharge at a little less than 10 cents per KWH (including taxes, green fee, etc.)

So lately, it's been as expensive as 3 cents per mile to run.

I think maybe my new rear tires are less efficient than the old ones.
