Full bellypan and wheel spats. Then pin-stripe it and powercoat the brake calipers.

Thanks for all the responses. A scan gauge will be on the docket soon. Changing her driving habits is in progress.

Someone asked about stock instrumentation: it has nothing in terms or fuel economy monitoring.

As far as appearances: she just wants it to look stock, not necessarily fancy.

I know people are that way. I'll never understand.

edit:
I do have respect for the Black Bumper Amish. The world at large is catching up with them.

I've never heard of the "Black Bumper Amish," can you clue me in? I have some friends who used to be "normal" Amish, and they wouldn't even own a rotary lawn mower with no engine, though a diesel engine to run a flex drive that runs power tools is ok.

I didn't know the term until I went looking for a picture.

I find it amusing that they share preference with the murderered out ricers.

They don't take it quite that far.

People who insist their car be as delivered from the factory remind me of crabs in a bucket.

She's not that bad, but she might protest if I started duct taping white coroplast to her red minivan. I'll have to be more stealthy and have it painted first.

If you look up any top 10, 15 or 20 worst vehicles type article jeep Chrysler, fiat usually make up at least a third to around around half that list.
Going from a 2012 t and c down to a 2007 honda was definitely an upgrade imo.
You didn't juat eliminate a car payment, you potentially eliminated 2, to Chrysler people they don't sell their old one until the monthly repair bill starts to look like the payment.
If you're unlucky you get an occasional repair bill that becomes more regular while you still are paying the damn thing off.

My parents are the same way about their cars. So, the Prius is limited to just sidewall max PSI, which has helped fuel economy. A partial subtle grille block in the winter was also used, but nothing too aggressive since they don't monitor coolant temps. Underbody paneling might help a bit too. Replacing the tires with something like Bridgestone Ecopias or Michelin Energy Savers would probably also help, of course once the current tires wear out.

I am going to do grille blocks and an air dam for sure. I'm pretty sure I can get away with a small kammback too, though nothing too extreme. Wheel skirts are probably out though, I might play with spats/ducting to try and help a little bit there.
