This design was released under a Creative Commons copyleft. Tandem small wheels to reduce frontal area. and provide redundancy. It ticks all these boxes.

Converting a car to a trailer maybe no bueno.



The axle winds up in the wrong place. The trailer can be a specific design, as this case of a pop-up:


The ultimate pop-out doubles the space, with a sliding three walls and roof, and a fold-down floor:



edit:
IIRC that was Tan Son Nhut Air Base. The French used wrought iron utility poles. The USofA used wooden poles with a service life of five years in that climate.

Instead of sliding, the pop-out could be on two four-bar linkages. Completely inaccessible when folded up.

Haxman made a tiny truck camper with two popouts and I wondered what maximum popception would be and visualized something like a collapsible camping cup:


I visualized an 8' cube made from 2" foamboard and fiberglass with a 7'8"x7'8"x7'10" box inside it... with a 7'4"x7'4"x7'8" box inside that... with a 7'x7'x7'6" box inside of that.

Would I want to go further?!

If you put a 2" overlap, you would have an 8'x30; tunnel!

What would you do with it?!

The way I see it, you would need to build a murphy bed and tiny kitchen in bath in the smallest cube and spread them around once you expand everything.

Then I saw this: They talk about how customizable it is.

Can we get rid of the spoiler?!

Faster when it's open? All that video and they don't show one opening or closing.

Folding hitch seems sketchy. In fact, ditch the whole Chinese frame and drop it onto a Beetle, New or Old with a Type III engine. Cut out the front wall and you'd have a Class-A motorhome.

What is the edge-of-panel insulation value?

I saw a YouTube short of an old 5-ton Army surplus truck with a head-sex change (HEMTT cab).

They bolted an old camper to the back.

All of the comments seemed to be about the Goldeneye music or claims that diesel or tires would cost $14,000.

Oshkosh sells the tires for $950 and with the U.S. average diesel price, it would cost $585 to fill--if it were a HEMTT.

It carries a couple hundred gallons of diesel, or does it live here in Reno with really expensive fuel? Cost me a $100 the other day to biannual refill the F250.

Velomobile RV

Somehow, I started watching videos about bike trailers.

I am not sure that I would feel that a coroplast trailer is better than a tent, but if you are already making a velomobile, why not modify it so you can sleep in it?

I just hate the greenhouse:
