Agreed, although I'm more a CX/GSA fan myself.

Which is why when I bought Hermann I pondered a C6 instead - but realised since Citroen only sold a few hundred of them in the UK that finding spares would be an issue.

The style became popular for a while in the 90s.

We like to be different, it makes us better. We even like when people think BMWs look good

I'm surprised you think a 3-series is better looking than an M1, or even a Batmobile CSL.

*(ukjoke - what is the difference between a Hedgehog and a BMW ? On a hedgehog the pr!cks are on the outside )

Uh-oh, Audiman saying nasties about Beamers - gotta draw a line right there!

OPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOPELOP ELOPELOPELOPEL

That's a nice line
If you get over the Opel nothing else matters.

well..i dont know why you call me a muppet i just corrected that the shown BMW was not an M as stated.

but yes/no, Alpinas are different, but BMW let alone M is good enough without Alpina Badge.

Drifting a bit, but it's not a joke. It's been documented.

Stop right here!
The study refers to Luxury cars in general, and even points out that Prius drivers are behaving likewise because their car is seen as a status symbol in NorCal.

Nothing in there to single out BMWs except a Google search snippet, which yields likewise results if you fill in Lexus or you-know-what.
(not with me though - Google search offers 'personalized' results to match your 'interests'...!)

If people who buy those cars behave like idiots it is their problem, or their countries. You will not see many jerk drivers in BMWs in Germany. That does not say a lot about the car, but maybe more about the country.

I am not a BMW fan, not at all even. But let stick to facts and behave nicely, and not ruin this thread about good looking cars, amongst which there are, I admit, some BMWs.

I know, right? A bullet-nosed Studebaker slid by with no comment.

How about the 120° V-8 front-engined 4-door Porsche 542.
