I guess ugly is in the eyes of the beholder. I don't think it looks that bad. Some people will like it even if you guys don't. Look at the Nissan Cube. Now that has got to be one of the ugliest cars ever made. It's grotesquely ugly, in my opinion, and people still bought it.

It isn't always a bad thing to drive a "ugly" car. At least it stands out a little in the parking lot.

That's what I was thinking of when I mentioned Honda Element! The Cube reminds me of women who have long beautiful hair, and then just shave one side of their head. The Cube is made for those bad haircuts, or are those bad haircuts made for the car?

I have only seen a Honda Element once, and it didn't really look so awful. When it comes to the Cube, its rear hatch could've been better-looking, but at least it seems quite functional.

yet it's selling well???

Quote:
Most impressive of all among plug-in hybrids, however, was the 898 Honda Clarity Plug-In models sold in December, only its second month on sale.
Honda also managed to deliver 527 Clarity Electric sedans, bring that battery-electric model's total to 1,105 sales last year over five months.
For comparison in December...
  • Chevrolet Bolt: 3227
  • Toyota Prius Prime: 2,420
  • Chevrolet Volt: 1,937

It is mainly ugly because of its big LED hooks under the headlights.
Think those away and it gets better.

Funny that that same feature does look acceptable on other cars like the VW XL1....
