isn't a fan of having to chauffeur the family and kids around as it wasn't originally in her job description,
I expect the parents did not put it in the job description because they knew she would want more money, and rightly so. And I am sure they knew ahead of time they were going to ask your GF to drive the kids. If the kids get hurt in a car accident, I believe the parents medical insurance company will seek to recover the medical costs from your GF. I really hope your GF is using a car provided by the parents to drive the kids around, and not her own car? Or that she is getting at least a dollar a mile for car expenses, as cash directly?

Good point ttoyoda. However, thankfully, they did not seek medical costs from my GF, in fact, the kids were fine, thank god.

Here's a pic of what the other driver did to the van she was driving (and to answer your question it was /their/ car, not her property and she is listed as an insured driver under their policy for this vehicle):

Claims have already gone through she is getting reimbursed tomorrow. Good news is she just jarred her rotator cup which cause some swelling and inflammation. She's on anti-inflammatory pills and some muscle relaxers. She's going to be just fine.

Plane tickets have been bought, she's moving in on the 26th, I can't wait for her to get her butt over here. She's tired of vegas lol.

I am glad to hear she is OK. There is nothing like someone you care for getting hurt to make you realize what is important in life.

She would have been covered, so it would probably work out OK.

Turtle Blacklist The Assholes

Beware of a "Mr. Rooter" driver in Las Vegas. This guy is a psycho and he does not like motorcycles. He intentionally cut me off then when I try to get away from him then he has the nerve to yell at me at the next light for overreacting to him cutting me off. The guy is a complete psycho.

vegas driving

Carelessness, speeding, etc is to be expected in a town that thrives on gambling and alcohol. Been in some near misses many times in Vegas!
