What did you end up using for fasteners? Did you make your clips, or did you find something off-the-shelf?

We've reached the end of my usefullness.
Cars back in the day had a generous door gap. Basically you'd build up to the cutline and add a little flange to wrap the edge. It's going to depend on where the gasket is, etc.

It is not necessary to make them pointed at the back, to have that V shape.
If you wanted to take into account the integration in the design of the car, you have to start from the middle of the stoplight, where the edge of the stoplight ends.
Anyway, it looks neat, compared to other changes seen on the forum.

That part under the tail light is actually curved at that point so it would’ve been harder to drill into the body. It’s a weird design choice why Hyundai didn’t put a separation edge there. But yeah the fins get attention especially since they are tapered in the back. The fins with the wheel covers get people making comments about the car everywhere I go. I only went with the v shape because Hyundais built in separation edges from factor had that shape but I just exaggeration it for a more sporty look. It makes the car look faster haha
