Just the old "CX got tired, decided to step up to a VX" swap. Nothing new.

But I will be trying an OBD1 accord EGR solenoid in place of the OE VX one to see if it works. I have heard rumors that it might work, and there's a lot more accord parts than there are VX parts lying around these days. If it's worth a thread, I can chronicle it with pics and post it all up when I'm done or as I go.

If you feel like it, I think people would be interested. Project threads are always fun.

mpguino VS Scan gauge

I just donated for a mpguino..

Guys you are a life saver...

Scan gauge is great as long as you do nothing to the cars CPU, but mess with any of the sensors and forget it...

I have caused a scan gauge to read 300+ MPG one time, and miss read a 29.9 as 37 MPG...

I have been trying to mod and get workinga old driving computer that used a speed sensor (magnets and a coil on the drive shaft) and a fuel flow sensor to work on a FI with return line car and truck.. seems the return flow is too great for the poor thing to make it read right...

I would love to talk with someone to fix this old computer if possible...

Rich

Does your old computer's flow sensor have an optical eye that counts the rotations of a small ball.
It might be possible that in the return line the fuel contains also bubbles that are counted also. If The fuel gets heated before returning it can start boiling and creating bubbles. This is what I found out with my old Zemco fuel computer and a mechanical fuel pump.

I ordered my mpguino-kit from fundamental logic about 8 weeks ago and still haven't received my shipment.

I have the same one.. my came in a Cal Custom box but I learned it was by Zemco...

I have three of the last models one is acting bad and two of the small compact models and 4 flow sensors...

I just did a Donation/payment but if I don't hear something fast I will protest it on Paypal, I have been taken in the past and will not be taken now if I have any thing to say...there is a time limit on PayPal...wait too long and your SOL.

He seems to be posting here currently so I would not think it will be a problem...
