Thoughts? Maybe someone has some numbers? It's so damn ugly, the least they could have done is make it have some decent aero, right?

Oh yeah, it's an Oshkosh NGDV (new mail truck).

My apologies if it's been mentioned here, did a quick search and found nothing...
Reminds me of a current politician that resigned.
I see some attempts at aero.
Not sure why they need that expansive/expensive of windshield for the task at hand.
I own 3 1962 Dodge Darts, so my definition of ugly and aero may differ.

Would it have any provision to drive standing? So, the driver would need such a bigger windshield in order to not have the view obstructed.

Can't see that being an allowed driving position today with all the safety protocol now in place. 50 years ago maybe with the milkman? Good question though.

It's what happens when you have a designer attempt a commercial vehicle with the mantra of good visibility. Some Commercial buses have a bigger one piece windshield than a one car garage door. View out is marvelous for the passenger, but suck a rock and it's costly really fast even if it doesnt spontaneously disassemble on the freeway
