there are drawbacks to using material other than coroplast. This was discussed at one point..

Metal will vibrate, rust, it's expensive compared to coroplast, heavier.....the list goes on.

I had busted up the front lip

I inherited the Kia Sportage from my daughter w 100k on it. The infiniti was at274k.
Also I had busted up the front lip on the IMPUL body kit and was becoming unhappy with thinks. Didnt want to put any money into it so sold it while it was still worth something.

for $11-14k I can pick up an 06 w/less than 100k!

I did an under engine cover for my Caddy LPG, but after finishing I immediately removed it as I made a test with a flame and discovered our Euro coroplast is soooooooooo flammable!
But maybe yours is different.
Going to redo it in with an aluminum sheet...

inflammable: not able to burn.

maybe you mean: flammable?

over 150k miles, not even a slight melt.

I can burnup a lot of things with direct flame..........

euro and U.S. coroplast are the same.
