Video: basjoos hits the airwaves -the Aerocivic on TV

A light hearted, yet still informative look at the Aerocivic:

Very cool to see it in action, Mike. Congrats!

PS: I disagree with the last bit of commentary.

Way to go Mike. I think your Civic is a thing of beauty. I figure the babes won't shy away from a guy with more cash in his pocket because he isn't spending it on gas.

Awesome video clip, That car has so inspired me!!!

I calculate what id save by driving a 80mpg car vs my 24 mpg truck, to work for commuting only .. Id save 16k in fuel in 100k miles at 3.00 a gallon.. even more with gas expected to hit 4 by the end of the summer.

Heck if you saved $250 a month thats almost enough for a car payment on a hybrid.. but why would you drive a hybrid when your moded out car can do better mpg

I seriously think I can make a CRX get 80mpg average with full body mods like this.. bet you could do the same on a metro too. Thats scooter mileage ratings in a car!

Congrats again, Mike. Your Civic is, perhaps, the most famous Civic in the world. I wonder when you'll get a phone call from Honda looking for design cues?

I'll have to wait until I get someplace that has a faster connection than the dial-up I have here at home before I can see the video. I live too far out in the boonies to get DSL or cell phone. So I take it that the commments the host made about not being able to get a girlfriend when you drive a car that looks like mine made it into the program. With the way gas prices are going, I'm guessing a lot of people wished that they had a car that looked and performed like mine.

I have to agree with ebacherville - the car is rolling ecomodding inspiration.
