At the moment it looks like this summer we will get the car again to standing mile line with 388 hp inside the 1.9 tdi. Here is calculation estimation of the cars setup:

Hello Vekke,

I see that you calculated with 6.3 kg/ton rolling resistance. Is that with the Bridgestone B381 Ecopia 145/80R14?

Did you ever confirm the rolling resistance with a "coast down" test, or other type of measurement?
I was looking at the specs for those tires, and they have a C-rating, which means 7,8 < RRC < 9,0. I'm considering buying them for a Renault Clio -97 which currently has 155/80-13-tires. But I'm not sure which figures to trust - 6.3 (A-rating) or C-rating?

I haven't found an A-rated tire which will fit my car so far. I've had the idea of buying the wheels from a Zoe (Michelin Energy E-V 185/65R15) from the junkyard, but calculations show they are a bit too large for my car.

My tire pressures were 3.5 bar which lowers the rolling resistance also that value is measured with totally worn tires which give better values... i did a coast down tests to figure out the rr and Cd values. (I used the exel which is somewhere here on the forum.

Lupo is back to myself and waiting a next engine to be installed to the chassis. What would you like to see me put there? 800cc tdi?

Parallel electric drivetrain that can augment the gasoline engine or run completely on its own. Leave the ICE in place. Add EV to the unpowered wheels.

A daydream of mine. Maybe that is what an "e-Up drivetrain" is?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
