However, I just GOTTA to ask how you pronounce your car's name:

The TOE-MAH-TOE or The TOE-MAY-TOE (wink,wink)?
Never gave that much thought.

I'm an electronics engineer. Been designing and building electronic test equipment for years. Well, actually it's been decades. Currently working at SpaceX.

Hello everyone!

I studied Industrial Design, worked on vehicle design occasionally, work as designer mostly (R&D Dept), growing some kind of hatred for internal combustion engines (though I studied it for some years).

So here's my story :
I stumbled upon a Brammo S motorcycle in 2011, and amazed of how quiet it is, and how much torque it produced (the rider is burning rubber as a show off stunt) and to my suprise it has gearbox (WOW!), I drive a scooter at that time (1litre for every 24km at cruising speed of 80km/h). And I'm into EV ever since.

That's it for my introductions, looking forward to getting to know everyone (and getting educated)

Thanks!

You had a 318 in a Charger? I had '66 Fury with a 318 Poly. Owned and drove for 23 years.

Materials Engineer

I work for an American spark plug company as a materials engineer. So I work with a lot of car guys, but I'm really just a materials geek. But I'm trying to learn.

Nice! Over on the Cruzetalk forum there's a few significant threads going about changing out the factory iridium/platinum plugs for traditional nickel steel tipped plugs (NGK V-Power in this case). Turns out, for some reason, the fancy materials plugs cause all kinds of issues with low RPM knock retard. If you wish to discuss I'd love to start a thread somewhere other than here to share some thoughts with an industry expert!
