Not quite sure how a major networking equipment manufacturer makes it in there :-)
Well, if there's anyone that knows what's really going on, it's the IT department. As some TLA government agencies are becoming aware.

Hand-drawn charts might not have been convincing...
It looked like they were. I remember seeing him on Larry King's program. Ross relied heavily on his charts and he couldn't say much without them. (At least he didn't need a teleprompter...)

I miss ol' Ross, with his nasal voice and his laugh - which was like a cackle.

Apparently you endorse the Occupy movement. It's still a collectivist ideology, and in the radical Leftist camp. You may prefer to call it something other than Socialism, but it's basically a form of it, no matter what it is called.

Red flags, sooner or later.

More like I used Occupy to compare and contrast—as if there's anything wrong with collectivism.

It sounds like it's helpful to you to normalize everything onto a Left-Right axis. Individualist anarchism is leftist with it's emphasis on indidual rights, under a hierarchy (with psychiatrists at the top).

Social anarchism is... elsewhere? Call it Agorism or Mutualism, if that helps.

I'm not that good at political theory. Have another lyric:
Quote:
I was raised up believing I was somehow unique
Like a snowflake distinct among snowflakes, unique in each way you can see
And now after some thinking, I'd say I'd rather be
A functioning cog in some great machinery serving something beyond me

But I don't, I don't know what that will be
I'll get back to you someday soon you will see

What's my name, what's my station, oh, just tell me what I should do
I don't need to be kind to the armies of night that would do such injustice to you
Or bow down and be grateful and say "sure, take all that you see"
To the men who move only in dimly-lit halls and determine my future for me

And I don't, I don't know who to believe
I'll get back to you someday soon you will see

I voted for Ross along with millions of others, letting Slick Willie into the white house. By comparison Slick was 10x smarter than the current occupant.

He knew economics and could converse with almost anyone about their field. I never heard Slick talk about the United States 57 states or Corpse-men. Just don't let me tell you what I think abou this wife.

I don't mind civil if vigorous political disagreements in my life, but the main forum page describes the purpose of the Lounge this way: "For the way off-topic topics (lighter stuff). Please - no political/religious discussion."

Political discussions are ok in General, apparently.

Start reading sir. That is why I started this thread there. I didn't start the political discussion there, just tried for balance.

Remember, conserve, be conservative. Don't twist my meaning.

The Romans had the Forum for their politics and the Agora for their marketplace. Apparently they strictly separated them like we do r******* and p*******. Agorism looks to the marketplace for solutions, so it's inherently 'apolitical'. Sort of like being a libertarian.

At least we got XYZ to agree that hippies are the true conservatives.
