Congrats Dave! Your story encourages me to finally beat 1000 miles on one tank. Berta's tank is 16 gallons so I don't think I'll be able to beat your almost 1700 miles on one tank, but I'll try to stretch my tank to go for 1700km (1056.34 miles) someday.

Incredible. I occasionally post on other forums that an engineer on this forum hits over 40-mpg in his commute. No one any longer posts "I don't believe that" and openly questions my credulity.
50 must sound like dilithium crystals are in use. With Spock at the wheel.
Congratulations, again, Dave! (I need program a key to automatically produce that phrase).
