The egg shape design is interesting. I could come up with items that where carefully placed to give the appearance of hauling a load but would give me the aerodynamics. Hiding the fact that the truck is Prius powered is number one on my list.

1946 Chevrolet AK series truck also a 3100 series. Kinda boring. The 41 and the 46 are nearly identical. At the end of the war, Chevy continued with the pre war body style. It was easier than retooling post war. Kind of ironic that I'm powering a post WW2 USA truck with a Japanese hybrid power train.

That wood-crate bed looks cool. You should leave it to enhance the contrast between the classic look and the modern tech.

Even though I knew it would be quite a controversial project, I didn't really expected that he could receive an actual death threat.

cRiPpLe_rOoStEr — It's the political climate, 'divide and conquer' is like a runaway train. Any common-sense opinion [seen as] anathema to the regressive Left will provoke this.

Have a story about Brazil:

I already knew about those streamlined buses from Belém. I'm just not sure if they were Chevy-based or Ford-based.

I'd just found the story, coincidental-like; and didn't even think about whether it might be a '46 Chevy. Asking that would have made it more on-topic.
