Too hard to say! It's all relative.
Do you need more money? If you're fortunate enough not to, and you don't really want to sell it, then the Prius truck is priceless.

Exactly what he said. Unless you are just hard up for money, I wouldn't sell it if I was you. It's probably safe to say, that you have the only classic truck that gets better MPG than most cars.
No way I would sell it unless I had to, mainly because I could guarantee you that would be my daily driver.

I think it's a legitimate question; insurance purposes, etc.
More than the value of the two donor vehicles. Put a third brake light on the differential housing?

Unless the buyer looks & talks like the Godfather and is making "...an offer you can't refuse..." I, too, probably wouldn't sell.

If some sumbich leans on you, the counter-offer is to set it on fire first.

You should have anti-theft measures in place, and a way to track the truck if it does get stolen. Not that I think it is at all likely. But it could happen and the loss is pretty bad if total.

That's what I'm concerned with. Collector car insurance wants a value. I don't know where to begin. Was thinking $10,000 but not sure if I'm high or low.

Yeah. $10k-$15k, depending on how much you spent, plus what you think your time was worth.

Its not super hard. If you totaled the vehicle, or it got stolen, how much money would you like to get? If 10k is enough then thats fine. Some would say to insure it for the full value of having it replaced (aka having it done) which would be massively more. Of course you'll have to pay more for the increased coverage. Its really up to you.
