I would LOVE to put a Duramax or Cummins in an early 1960s Caddy.

With that torque, you could gear it to get pretty awesome (realativly speaking) highway mileage.

Funny, i knew immediately that was sac raceway in the still shot of the chevelle. I was also going to mention that mustang, I remember seeing it in hot rod magazine. There was also an early fox body mustang with a turbo 4 cyl running similar ETs and getting good MPG, thinking mid 20s

I used to live in Sacramento .. That sac?
I had a 1979 mustang pace car w a turbo 4 banger. Running little car. I smoked the engine twice under the 36k mile warrantee
