[QUOTE=Sporty Modder;313446]I pulled the rear wing off the car today, and there is a noticeable increse in drag when coasting. That being said I will be making a new permanant rear wing.
I drove the car for the first time since the wing got mounted, I found I was doing 5-10 mph more than before the wing with the same throttle positions. I know the back window has no flow over it because rain doesn't move at all on it.
I base my milage on tank to tank. That being said this tank is def not as good as the last, my guess is 25 or 26 mpg.
Btw my wife doesn't drive so no tuft testing.

Filled up yesterday, 28.5 mpg. Milage dropped 3 mpg from driving 90% without the rear wing.
My testing is not very scientific but I typically get within 1/2 a mpg from tank to tank.

Well the new wing hasn't improved anything mpg wise. 28.3 mpg last tank. I think it is too long. My coroplast wing was 9" total length and this one is 12". Dissapointing to say the least but if it dosen't improve mpg it comes off.

The wife and I made a trip to Coeur d lane today (4th anniversary) drove all the way there and back on one tank of e10. 380 mi 11.05 gallons, totaling 34 mpg
The wing is def coming off.
Version 3 soon to come, thinking sheet metal 9" off the back deck. Currently the wing is 12" off the rear deck.
