1996 Geo Metro 1.0L 5 speed

I picked up a cheap '96 Geo if anyone in the Vancouver BC area is in the market. It's a green 2 door, dark grey interior, 1.0L, 5 speed. I realize I should have pics but I forgot to take any before I left the shop today, and I don't feel like driving back there right now. No rust, the body has dings etc, and someone keyed the drivers side, and sadly someone else decided to try and cover up the keying with the wrong shade of green spray paint. So no, she ain't the prettiest, but it is fairly straight, the interior is in good shape, car has 248k KMs (154k miles). It's Aircared, and even has a trailer hitch (??) though I don't know what you could tow with it exactly. After driving my 2000 Firefly when I had it, I think the trailer hitch is more wishful thinking than anything else ha ha. $1000 takes it.

Trailer hitch is most likely for a bike rack.

For the trailer hitch i was thinking bike rack as well, mabey a spot for a tow hook if they got stuck a lot easier for locals with trucks to pull you out without damaging the vehicle

I don't know what you mean by disallowed, unless you just mean it is hard to import a Canadian vehicle into your state. I will agree that it seems that high F.E. vehicles are cheaper up here, which is odd considering how much we pay for fuel. I am pretty sure this car would have sold in about 5 minutes if it was south of the border, but up here it's a different story.

Chevy won't give a little certificate for the car, without the certificate, the car is not allowed, period.

That is still the law unfortunately.

Sort like saying its legal if I say so but I won't answer.

Strange - we're allowed to bring U.S. cars into Canada. Not too much hassle.

Yes I export Canadian cars into the States all the time, but they are only a few years old and I only send them to Washington state so there must be a different rule in place.

I grabbed some pics finally if anyone cares
