Amazing it works every time. Slow down and the fuel mileage goes up.
87 Turbo Volvo
70 mph - 27 mpg,
65 mph - 28-29 mpg,
55 mph - 31 mpg.

97 Volvo 960

50 mph 35.4 mpg
55 mph 33.9 mpg
60 mph 31.15 mpg
65 mph 28.5 mpg
70 mph is somewhere around 26 mpg

My friend has got the 97 volvo and you sure are right, the fuel mileage definitely goes way up when we slow down the car.
