The warmer weather is really starting to be seen. I had my best commute this year in the Metro. 69.2 mpg in to work.

Another great commute in at 73.1 mpg. I can't wait until it actually gets warm. It was still 38F this morning.
To keep things in perspective, my tank is at 54 mpg right now. My trips home are uphill vs downhill in the morning. I've been averaging high 40s to low 50s on the return home.

Wow - 73.1. The planets are aligning.
Imagine what you could do with some aeromods!

Haha, yeah I know. We'll see what I have time for with the Metro. Lots of other priorities right now.

First fill up in a while. 57.3 mpg which is my best tank that isn't a short fill. Yay. Can't wait for full summer temps.

My average speed is usually fairly ideal. The majority of my drive to work is 45 mph with a little bit of 35 mph on each end (14 miles daily). The rest of my commuting is around town, so speed limits of 35 mph. Its easy not incredibly hard to knock out 60+ mpg trips, and 70+ if there isn't traffic. Once a week I take a 26 miles trip to pickup and drop off a friend for church. This is on the interstate with a speed limit of 65 and I usually do 60-65 mph. The Metro does not like these speeds.
The down side of all of my trips is they're almost all very short. My daily commute is 7 miles. My trips around town are 5 miles or less. Overcoming cold start is a big thing for me.

I had a new best trip in to work today, 75.4 mpg! Yay. There was uncommonly light traffic, so I took advantage of it.
I'm only about 1/4 through this tank, and I'm at about 60 mpg thus far.

Your commute sounds similar to mine, my trip is about 17 miles with a 45mph speed limit for half and 55 mph for the other half. Usually the lights are timed so I only hit one or two.
Great work !
