1st ever 50mpg

That's the first time I ever made a gallon go that far. And the car is carrying more weight now since Son #1 is sharing the ride to school with us in the morning. Drop him off at the Agriculture Campus and continue driving. We pick up a little more stop-and-go this way.

Next up, covering some unnecessary holes.

He's been a member since 08 and has almost 700 posts. I fail to see why you think he needs to be told to add psi to his tires.

He looked at my fuel log page and observed the one mod (added pressure) I've made to the car so far, and the fact that it is likely a strong factor in the improved performance.

Congrats on passing the big five-oh!

Isn't it interesting how engaging it can be driving a car that was designed to reward the driver handsomely when you learn its ways and pay attention to its feedback?

Fun, fun!
