the dp tuner on 40 horse setting made about 71 horsepower on the chassis dyno. The edge on same dyno made about 61.

DP on 80 horse setting made 105 horsepower over stokc, and 110 on the 120 setting.

the edge was 10 to 15 percent better mileage over stock, depending on load. DP was 10 to 15 percent on 40 horse setting over stock, and 20 percent better then stock on the 80 horse setting.

towing over 10,000 pounds on 80 horse was kind of on the ragged edge - egt's would creep up to 1200 on long hills or with a big headwind. I'd tow with it in 80 horse setting, but I wouldn't loan it out on that setting.

also, all settings make the truck a LOT better to drive. A lot less turbo lag, more responsive, and more fun.

Thanks for taking the time to share. I haven't tapped my fuel pump yet for fear of frying it. Many stories of the high pressure pump letting go just moments after tapping that wire. But... if I can get that kind of fuel savings I would be mighty tempted to risk it.

Update

New brake capilairs on front end make huge difference. It got 20.02 mpg those were mostly city speed 25-45 mph with alot stop.

I suspect rear brake need new capiliars that another $100 down drain. Not cheap.

What one thing that confused me. Last tank and couple from Marthan fill been average 15-16 but use more fuel to drive report by scangauge's GPH.

This fuel I filled from BP it was cost more. Notice I could hit 19 mpg on hwy. Before that it was struggle to hit 15-17 plus new brake did same thing until I refill with different station. Scangauge report less fuel usage on highway almost 50 off that was alot improve but still need replace turbo and 2 injectors.

Finally have belle tire fix alignment for free. Adjust camber on driver side so no more lean tire.

Replaced Turbo seem to make worse mileage but that from scangauge. Going refill tank next week to find out what mpg average.

Replace #8 injector same issue it still consume excess fuel.

Change oil to delco 15w40 from shell 5w40 synth I can't afford $100 VS $40 but it does impact on mileage.
