Cars. They DO have a soul. And an evil sense of humour.
A fault appears, you sweat like a pig, worry about the repair cost THIS TIME. Then, fault disappears, you think ok maybe it was just some small electrical thing.
After this you drive a nice few weeks with a smirk on your face. "damn, this is a good car"
BAM! Major engine issues

True, thankfully this car is not particularly endearing so the will to engage with its shenanigans is low.

That's really too bad. Looking at it on paper, it should check all of the boxes of "I love this car" for me, aside from the part where it's constantly in need of supervision/maintenance.

It's an interesting one - lots of concept car stuff tempered by ****ey "penny pinching" use of sub par components..

Anyway, despite consuming coolant at an alarming rate, it still got 54.03mpg us on the last tank (64.89mpg).

408.2 miles for 28.6 litres

54.74 US MPG (65.70 imp mpg) on the last tank - this "driving to maintain coolant" is certainly helping the economy..

Maybe we should add DTMC to the ecomodder lexicon?
