...I believe that's were the torque-converter "lock-up" occurs, at 40 mph.

I'd say around 45 mpg, using the cruise control at 60.
My civic, rated 35 highway, will do 45 mpg or so.

(45 for the 35-rated 1.8L engine, or 40 for the 30-rated 2.4 engine)
