So, you do not ask her approval if you do not think that she will notice?

"Hey, wasn't your bumper rounder?"

"No, I do not think so."

"Huh. Okay."

I wonder what kind of benefit you're going to see with that Kamback.

I should come by so you can design a fiberglass boat-tail for my insight, that would so so sick.

I'd love to, but I wouldn't do 3 wheelers boat tail any justice

Sorry for the lack of updates, I spent Monday doing a dry run of taking the train and bus to Santa Monica from Orange County. About a 2.5 hour commute, but at least I can just sit and relax and sleep on the way to work

Tuesday and today made a little progress. I would've made more progress if I didn't sleep in

Finished bondo and sanding the passenger side. Still need to finish up the driver side.

Probably won't be able to finish this until next weekend because of Thanksgiving holiday

Updates

The rear diffuser fell off over the weekend. Thanks to my modular 3 piece design, the rear diffuser was the only casualty.

One of the aluminum bars i used snapped at one of the bends. If you notice, the top bar was on it's last legs too!

Luckily, my girlfriend was not in the car when this occurred, or else my ecomodding days will be OVER!

The rear bumper spoiler project is on the back burner now. Since i take the train to work everyday, my daily commute is only 15 miles round trip, so i'm not sure if i will get any meaningful gains from that project. Plus my mpg's are going down the tube!

Time to think of rear diffuser re-designs version 2.5

Stinks that the aluminum bars broke. Are all the rest of the aluminum frame pieces looking okay?

Kind of makes me wonder what kind of stresses they were under. Can't wait to see what the redesign looks like!

All of the other aluminum bars are okay because they are all straight. The piece that broke was the only one I had to bend in order to clear the rear lower control arms. I wanted to have a completely smooth underbelly. I suspect perhaps the bars didn't clear the arms enough, so the arms might have occasionally banged onto the bars.

i may have to design v2.5 to begin behind the arms. Then figure out a way to make a smooth transition between the middle and rear undertay.
