I see RR still seems to think that a single vortex generator at the front of the hood is good aero

D'you think that someone at RR has been playing StarCraft, or vice versa?

I would definitely take 29MPG in a deuce and a half! I can't even get that in my stock 4Runner! Which one did you eco drive?
|
29mpg (thats imperial too) was in a Ghost, which have a 6.25L V12 Twin Turbo lump under the bonnet, the Phantom's which are NA and V12 are not so economical I've found. However you can get them down to 5mpg or less on track
If I had a choice it would be an extended wheelbase Ghost for me

Wouldn't a large super saloon make a good platform for an ev, i mean the instant torque is basically what the v12's are geared for in those cars. and with all that space and a design like the tesla's you could make it handle and have a huuuggee range

Imperial gallon, I'd wager. 29MPG times the UK/US correction factor (.833) yields about 24.1 MPG. Not awful, but not quite as impressive.

Both the Wraith and Bentley Continental GT are such a departure from past products, that it's as if we've entered into a completely different demographic for the market.

Just so you're clear, RR is owned by BMW and Bentley is owned by VW/Audi. They're not the same company anymore.

I believe this was mentioned in reference to my post that the Auto Union (VWAG) had success with the Bentley Continental series, which may show the market for even higher end coupes (the Wraith) [from other manufacturers].
