Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you just spray-painted all that chrome grille to match the body color.

I don't mind the grill - I am quite mixed about grills in general. I would prefer they dispensed with the fake stuff and just made it all painted body and left just the required opening(s) - with shutter(s) closing them off when they are not required.

I find it strange to have so much attention paid to the grill - of any vehicle. The grill is not anything more than a cooling intake, and I couldn't care less what it looks like or how it is "styled". Styling it is such a waste of effort.

Yeah, civic, accord, camry. Maybe blending will help vs the odd looks the eco cars have like the prius, insight, ev1, leaf, etc, etc, etc.

I appreciate the effort, but I think low CD shapes provide amazing style with function included.

I think the massive chrome "s**t-eating grin" grille is a (fairly recent) Chevy thing, though, not really an eco-car thing. Searching for images of "Chevy grille" shows a lot of them: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=is...chevy%20grille

Well, plan b is to wrap it in black vinyl or paint it flat black.

All three of these cars have the same ( factory quoted ) Cd - point25.

See something odd about that last car ? It doesn't look at all like it is as sleek as the others, yet it is.

( Lexus LS430 Cd .25 with optional air suspension - source : Lexus LS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

Seems to me that aero doesn't have to mean "odd" looking.

I agree about the Civic look - which is much better than the look of the current one. I like it actually.
