If only we'd charged admission...
Truth is, the number of "active" members hasn't changed an awful lot. Always hovering around 1200-1400. So it hasn't really gotten any more crowded (except when gas prices spike).
Lots of people sign up to make it easier to search the forums, or view attachments, or subscribe to threads, or use the fuel log. But most don't actually post.

I've noticed that. Many new members come here looking for a "magic bullet" for fuel economy, and many of them stop posting (and maintaining their fuel log) when they learn that there is no "magic bullet". Most are not willing to "adjust the nut behind the steering wheel". That's just too much trouble.
And some of us are able to achieve 50% over EPA just by "adjusting the nut behind the steering wheel" and we consider it a fun game.
Different strokes....
