tasdrouille If you look real hard in your rearview mirror you may be able to see my redyaris approaching. I am at 4.3L/100km for best tank refills; summer driving and may get down into the 3.8L - 4.0L/100km next summer, with only moderate hypermileing and improving aerodynamic.

Try to do something in the back between the gas tank and rear bumper, there is a big gap there working as a plow. TDI's have a factory "belly pan" right? Did you do anything in that area?
