Do it! 100% over EPA (60 MPG) as a 90 day average is impossible for me in my autotragic Civic, so you'll be ahead of me there!

I tried doing wheel spats once - even had the coroplast all shaped, ready, & everything, but I couldn't figure out how to mount them.

I had them on the Malibu I had before, but they were plain squares screwed into the back of the plastic rocker panel cover as a quick and cheap mod... don’t know for certain that it worked or not...

I’m torn between two different ideas for wheel spats should I make them as my next mod...

Keeps getting better! First fill up after getting alignment done was 333.7mi and 6.524 gallons, or just over 51mpg! I had no idea that fixing bad alignment would help as much as it has... coast distances are noticeably better... if things proceed at this rate, I’ll need to set yet another goal before winter lol

no new mods completed either, just the *almost* zero toe front end alignment, rear is still off but no way to easily adjust... trailing arm will need rotated under the car, 0.3 degree to the left...

EDIT: found a calculator that tells me each wheel needs to move about 1/8” (right wheel forward and left wheel back) to properly set rear toe, or at least get it damn close

Thanks, it never ceases to make me proud lol... now it should be mentioned that my driving for the last two tanks has been almost 100% long trips, and lots of traveling at night, where my hypermiling can go unimpeded..

Nighttime makes my hypermiling hard. Car idles high to compensate for alternator load. But I sure do appreciate the 4am lack of traffic when I head into work!

Nighttime is difficult I. That my lights aren’t as bright when I EOC and I have to run the engine constantly the last mile or two of my trip to bring battery voltage back up... I need some LED lights bad lol

Not to mention it's getting darker earlier every day. Night comes faster this time of year.

It does indeed... with LED lights I figure I could EOC at night without worry of harming my battery... as it is now, I sacrifice a little in a night trip to raise battery voltage near the end of a trip, and always avoid using the HVAC fan after dark
