So I just filled up at 159.3 miles and put in 12.778 gallons for a total of 12.5mpg! Wow.... I honestly didn't beat up that much this tank, I have no idea what the hell is up with me getting such bad mileage. I even did a spark plug/wire/rotor/cap change and a techron treatment.
The guy with the 450rwhp mustang still gets 17-20 when he has a little fun on his tanks.

It's not leaking fuel is it? I know the rubber fuel filler neck grommets like to go bad and fuel can slush out on corners. Happened to me on my old 87 GT.

The DOA really sucks down the f.e. in our Foxes.
Have you decided what kind of tires you'll run?

Trash mufflers like that are not good on anything.
Oh come on, man! You know how to improve fuel economy! Belly pan, Kamm-back, skirts, etc! Not only would you get better mileage, but you will be faster, too!

That was the first thing I checked. I was hoping that's what it was, but it wasn't. I also checked the fuel lines under the hood as well as the injectors . I bought a nice jack and some jack stands today so I can finally get under the car soon. I just honestly don't see how it's possible for this car to suck this much gas. My dad's 454 Chevy motor home gets the same mpg as I do, and he tows a boat with it!!

What Is DOA? I am running 225/55R16 Eagle GT'S at 40PSI right now. They only have about 4k miles on them, so I'll be keeping them until they wear out.

AOD, the transmission. I always refer to them as DOA since they have a reputation for being less than durable.

Oh lol, yea I have a AOD, but mine is at 193k miles and still running strong. I'm actually glad I have the AOD, it will allow 4.10 rear end and still allow long trips doable. Only 2600rpm at 70 isn't bad at all.

Ok guys, no progress as of late but after doing a lot of research and actually working on these cars I have changed A LOT about this build. Major updates to come in the next month or so!
Might want to read the OP.

Changed the brakes today! Thanks to a buddy of mine it only took me about a half hour, and this being the first time I have ever done my own brakes, I will say I can't believe it's so darn easy! It also seemed to fix my low-braking power problem, so that's good!

Yeah, Fox brakes are surprisingly simple and easy to change.
