Good grief! I thought my E rated truck tires were salty at $250 each. But I do get 100,000 miles on a set.

No body pays that much for a tire unless you are buying the best tires money can buy.
Funy enough I saw a special on the Veyron and its tires cost $6000 per set and have to be changed every 10K miles or after a 10min high speed full throttle run ...

The tires on the Veyron will last 17 minutes at WOT, fortunately the car runs out of gas after 15 min. lol

Yea I've never understood that. Why can they make F1 and NASCAR tires that can handle 200-250 mph for several hundred miles and yet they can't do it for a street car. The tires on Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini have tires rated for that speed, and some of those can do it.

A lot of vehicles go through tires that often. From personal experience most performance BMW's need a set of rubber + brakes at every oil change (10-15k depending on conditions).

The tires don't last that long, and they cost well beyond what your typical person is willing to pay. Also, their traction while cold is terrible and they have no tread. Stiff as hell too, I've got a pair of F1 tires in my room as a night-stand. Not something you'd want on a car.

Neither none of the brands you've mentioned above have a car that does 250+ miles per hour, much less are able to handle 1000 horse power. The Veyron's tires are custom made for the application to handle a vehicle that is more powerful, and faster (in a straight line) than some of the worlds most incredible race cars.
