Doesn't the driver's seat need a sheepskin seat cover anyway?

Just filling in the missing foam and upholstry will add ~15% to the weight of the vehicle. That will be a big penalty to FE

I know, right? But fear not, I've actually been driving the car with an extra foam pad on top of the seat to keep from getting poked by metal, so it isn't really a net increase.

I'll try to offset all of that heavy foam with things like carbon fiber fenders and hood, and vacuuming the carpet (which should easily subtract a hundred pounds.

Wow, how did I miss this thread. (I know how, won't bore you though.) Great stuff!

Here is the solution to your seating issue -- Fiat Jolly seats. They're wicker.

Make sure to factor the vacuum's energy consumption into your milage

Oh man am I glad to have finally found out. Maybe I'll see the aero civic one of these days, depending on how close you are to grand rapids. Be careful around the city hws. It's crazy here.

Also, do you have the shop links to where you got your mirror cams? I've been looking for adequate replacements for my Sevilles ears for a while now and haven't found anything like those! Also. I think you can cut a wire somewhere and it disables the parking guides, if it's anything like my rear view dashcam.

Apologies, yes I forgot to update this thread. I'd love to have been able to keep Aerocivic, but I have an opportunity overseas, so I found an even better caretaker.

I passed on my diesel Dasher. I'm hopeful that I found a good caretaker, he's already been introduced to the previous owner.

It is pretty sweet -- green tinted glass and a quartz clock in the dashboard.
