Apparently. That was the only option I had. I'll renew it for the longest period available next time it's up.

Here in Indiana I have to pay one year until a certain date (based on last name). Even though I paid for registration for the 04 awd van in July I still had to pay the price for a full year until April. I don't agree with the situation, but not much I can do besides move out of state. Maybe it's a similar thing in Michigan?

While waiting for the end of winter, I've started reupholstering the interior. The fabrics aren't new, but they were free!
I started with the passenger seat, because it was in overall much better shape.

Nice. Did you start with fabric or a pre-stitched cover?

It's a pre-stitched cover. All said it took around 3 hours for one seat, with all of the hidden springs and hog rings in these things.

Driver's seat didn't turn out as well as the passenger seat, but it didn't start in the same place either. Overall I'm happy with the results.

Cool!
Is it just re-upholstery or any mods?

Just reupholstery and filling in the chewed up foam, at least while it's snowing and salty outside. I'll continue to work on the interior until the weather warms up enough to take it to a shop to get the front frame rails straightened, then sand it and do some bodywork and paint.
Then it'll start getting some new aero pieces.
