Aerodynamic streamline template - online tool (view streamlined extension on any car)
Browsing a forum I saw quite a lot requests of overlying an aerodynamic streamline template over users cars picture. (What is it? see: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post116392)
Therefore I made an online tool using outstanding templates by Aerohead
It's quick and dirty, though somewhat usable. I am giving it out, so it's up to you what you will do with it. If someone wants to upgrade it and move it perhaps to the forum page, I would appreciate it as I don't know when they will close my school account and I am not a real webcoder to maintain and upgrade it.
EDIT:
Thanks to forum user orangustang this tool gets even better.
This tool has now been moved to Ecomodder. It is accessible via the Tools page.
edit:
- fixed aspect ratio bug
- credits and instructions given
- added mirrored version for right-to left ecomodders with their cars parked wrong way
- templates for side and plane view now available
- white outline and plane alignment and other features thanks to orangustang

That's a great idea! Maybe it can become part of EcoModder...

Very nice. I had trouble scaling correctly though- would it be possible to lock the aspect ratio when scaling?

Same problem here. The template seems to scale fine, but the user's image aspect ratio gets stretched when scaling. Other than that, it's a nice tool.
