fender skirts or if not possible for clearance issues, partial fender skirts would be majorly beneficial on a vehicle like this

Don't want to sound like its pile on fastplastic day, but did you A-B-A test your belly pan ever? I mean that is over 25% improvement over EPA with just that mod! That does seem a bit high. I understand the whole city mileage thing, it holds my mileage down quite a bit. I bet I do about the same percentage of city mileage as you.

No I can't say I've really had time to try the A-B-A testing. I have a few more mods then that at this point. Listed below
  1. Grill Blocks - 4 in the summer
  2. Slanted front air dam
  3. Transmission under body cover
  4. Transfer case cover extending back about 3-feet.
  5. Roof rack delete
  6. Several much smaller panels under body - One is only 2" square
  7. Front fender gaps filled
I've also found adding a bottle of Iso-Heet really makes a difference on my Jeep. I read somewhere that the computers on the Jeeps can be tricked with stuff like that.

The reason it says 21% above is because I used the EPA calculator to adjust for the fact that I was only doing about 20% of my driving on the highway each year. So I think it quoted me 14MPG's for the average. Which is about what I was getting average before I joined this group. I need to run the numbers again and see where I'm at these days. I know I've been taking the highway more across town (like a good ecomodder should) and have gone on a few long trips as well. But it's not unusual for me to push 20MPG's all in town on my way home from work at night.

boat tail trailer

pvan93, please keep us up-dated on your trailer progress.I too am fabricating such a contraption for a West-Coast test trip in September.

Have they been majorly beneficial for anyone?

Jeeps look like they're air's worst enemy from bumper to bumper, top to bottom. I suspect minor tweaks won't even show up on the radar.

I say have at it with some card board and duct tape. The worst you could do is be out $4 for a roll of tape.
