No, I do not believe that it does. So just cut your car in half and strap each half to a pallet.

Unfortunately, it is more than twice as difficult to ship something that is the size of two pallets than it is to ship two pallets. It cuts down on where the stuff can go, for one thing, and of course it is harder to load and unload.

If you want to just drive on and off, then you have to deal with something that is set up to transport regular size cars. You might be able to talk a carrier into cutting you a deal if you can get two of these half-size cars going from the same origin to the same destination, but if you cannot then the truck will have a half space wasted. They'll have to charge you full price for that, because otherwise they'd lose the money they could make.

Unless you can figure out a creative shipping method, you're probably stuck paying the "auto transportation" rate.

I did get a quote for shipping by rail its $400 which is MUCH more reasonable.

Sadly the seller will not move the car 250 miles to the nearest depot, so I am stuck.

I am trying to get him to sell just the parts I need off one of his cars for the $500 he wants but that seems to be a tough sell too.

Ah well

$500 won't buy a lot of parts. Will it fit in a backpack?

Hmm approaching this from a different angle.

The guy had 5 of these curtis 1238 AC powered electric cars, anyone else want dibs on the remaining 3 (I get one)

Maybe as a group we could make these cheap enough to justify going there and picking up all 3?

Anyone in for a cheap modern AC powered conversion parts source?
