Go with 185/70R14 tires. The car will driver better than the 175s.

What do you mean by "better"? roll longer, coast easier?

It's to bad those Goodyear Integrity tires have such poor reviews, poor wet weather traction and winter traction is not good.

I was also looking at the Summoto HTR T4 tires, Wikipidia lists them as LRR tire, not at the top of their list but ok, however tire rack does not show them as LRR, the Summoto HTR _H4_ tires sound even better but are not sold in the correct size.

175s are too small for the the suspension geometry.
