It's over $4 all over the Milwaukee area. Of course, we live in one of the highest gas tax states (The People's Republic of Wisconsin) in the county, and 10% ethanol is required in our gas.

I just saw $4.03 (the first time over $4 for me) on Thursday. Near my home, it was still ~$3.85. It has probably gone up since then, though. I would have expected Southern California to lead the national average, but lately it seems to be pretty in line.

I hear that the cheapest in town is $3.95 and one gas station is selling 87 octane for $4.19, my civic is still running on gas I bought April 14th, had to make a point to ride my scooter more so I could get enough miles on it to change the ATF in the gear box.

Filled up Friday for 3.769 at Sunoco in Clifton, NJ

other stations in the area were around 3.85. The Shell station near my house is usually .10-.15 higher than the area average for some reason. And I used wonder why I'd never see cars there ;-)

gas prices are now going up 3-5 cents a day...it's crazy. There is a lot of angry people at the gas station.
