so its looking like no matter what, it is going to be visible. and in that location, it is going to be very visible and noticeable at a glance!

You can always donate it The red is nice looking, but the yellow-green ones are hard to beat for readability in all light conditions.

I like the negative look too. Looks a lot better at night.
Here's mine. The tank values are in blue, the current values in yellow, and the instant values in white.
I still have to install it to see how it looks in the car. The MPGuino will be hidden, with the external display mounted in the spot for the clock and the mirror DPAD controlling the MPGuino (my car has no clock or power mirrors). I'll post pictures when I get it in.

Is that an OLED screen? Where'd you grep it from? Displaying temperature too?

Thats cool with the Fiero, with a similar colored enclosure it would blend in well. Tucked nicely out of the way but still right in front of you. Doesnt look very bright, probably because of the camera flash, but I can tell it is bright because of the glow on the side of the gauge pod.
I like that multi-info screen. Looks a bit beyond my scope of electronics.
