This is verrry inte-resting:

A worthy competitor appears. A three-wheel electric from Malcom Bricklin!

Specification card at youtu.be/dhUzCnaQj4E?t=1313. Side-by-side seating and a list price equal to two $11.9K FUVs. What the Elio should have been.

What noteworthy is that now Sandy Munro has involvement with Arcimoto, Nobe and Visionary Ventures. In the video he states that any three-wheeled vehicles he's involved with shall have the seatbelt mounted air bag they show. I'm glad I am waiting, the FUV should get this.

Also they talk about a gyroscope on a chip to manage the torque vectoring and springing. Space Age stuffs.

If the Archie increased two-thirds between advancement and production, where will this end up?

$11.9K > $20K > $17.5K so far. The new target might be $12.9K.

Bricklin's plan? Who knows. Sandy Munro is working with three companies. Says they will have to adopt the seatbelt airbag if they want his help.

The Nobe and the 3EV are both 3 wheel drive. If Arcimoto adds rear wheel drive I hope it's on a bogey so that the wheel bounces the motor up and down and the body rides in the cradle. Like Bucky's Dymaxion Omnidirectional Transport. Maybe I should make a phone call to my contact.

edit. Done. I gave it my best shot.

I had a sit-down meeting with one of the principals at Arcimoto. Things were discussed that I promised not to blurt out here, but this video...

...has the biggie at t=1771 — the Arcimoto Roadster concept.

Fresh air motoring. ...and a pillion seat.

Everyone makes mistakes, and I guess Malcolm Bricklin might have been laughed at when he imported those 2-stroke Subaru kei cars, yet in the long run he was proven quite right as nowadays Subaru has a solid foothold in the American market. Well, everytime I see something that proposes quite a drastic change when it comes to the American automotive market which is somewhat more conservative than Japan or Western Europe, I take it with a grain of salt, but when Malcolm Bricklin gets involved it's worth to keep an eye on.

You don't get it. Malcom Bricklin might be another Gordon Murray. Not.

I look more at Sandy Munro's role. He's involved with three tricycle microcar manufacturers. All three will benefit from his involvement. He first thing he did at Arcimoto was make their engineer's minds blow by showing them all the fasteners on a SINGLE display board.

Meanwhile:

At 0:51 you see Mark Frohnmayer's front yard. It's so typically Eugene — Bungalow style painted in four colors, political sign in the yard, etc.
