The higher power in this case being a short squeeze in the stock market. And the CEO was busted for a DUI in downtown Eugene, and a new CEO was brought in.

IOW, your usual corporate shenanigans.

What I hear, but haven't driven across town to confirm, is that there is a residual work force of eight in the old AMP location servicing the existing fleet warrantys. And the food delivery service Faction's robots may still be active.

OTOH they seem to keep their value fairly well, www.cycletrader.com/Used-Arcimoto-Electric/motorcycles-for-sale? currently shows three, at $12.5, 10.5 and 8.5K.

I may have just seen my first FUV. Part of Arcimoto's certified used program, priced at $9K.

More generally, I stopped by the AMP site and talked to the staff. It's turned from a production line to a service facility. Faction is still in the game. The MLM is gone.

Next time I stop by I'll ask if I can take a picture.

Good news indeed for shareholders like me.
After the reverse 20:1 split I ended up owning 5 shares, now worth a whopping $0.0001 each.

I may still end up wealthy on the deal, but it will require some patience and optimism.

The word that comes to mind is 'retrenchment'.

They still have Tilting Motors Works inhouse, but the MLM is toast. Their tilt mechanism might be licensed to Southeast Asia. It should do well in that market.

Faction is apparently still interested, that will further the autonomous driving effort. With some indetermenant amount of effort, they might beat rival the Robotaxi for small-scale use.

The one I've spoken for is sitting there needing a Cyclopean headlight (9½" 1934 Ford Commercial) and black leather saddle bags with fringe and chrome stars.

Your favorite freebeard put down 1/3 down on an FUV, and they will hold the specific example (which I drove around the lot today). I have [up to] a year to pay it off, at which point I can take delivery. They have a 'cold storage' contactor.

If anyone wants one, they had about 30 that had been in storage arrayed in the old AMP.

What's the price? Where's the GoFundMe? Having it now would be better than later, in the rain.

They came down to $8650, and when I mentioned the $100 I threw down in 2016, they honored it (whether they had a record or not).

I'm sitting on some savings, and I was told about communitylendingworks.org/apply-now/. They do business, car and personal loans and applications are screened by a local committee of warm furry mammals, instead of an agency that thinks in numbers. Apparently not a full credit union. I'll know more as soon as I have a purchase order in hand.

Even if that falls through I have time to sell the Metro. And the Shopsmith, And the Lexus electric axle.
