That phrase you used
Google can't translate that. Sure your not channeling the Lovecraftian Old Ones?

Verjüngungsverhältnis = thinning ratio.
Used in forestal managenent and something with gears that I cannot fathom: Polytechnisches Journal - Der Spannungszustand von Schwungrädern bei gleichförmiger Rotation.
In aerodynamics I'd expect it to describe either the angle or the square area of the trailing end of a Kamm body (but I'm no expert).

Verj'u'ngungsverh'a'ltnisses

Here are some images which illustrate what 'Kamm' was researching at the FKFS

Kamm's research was a follow-on addition to Walter Lay's 1933 research at the University of Michigan

which investigated Jaray's work of 1922

Everything had to do with the effect of after-body elongation and the 'shape' of the elongation with respect to drag.
My rough German translation came out as ' the aspect ratio of the aft-body,examining the length as compared to the body height, ignoring ground clearance and overall vehicle height.'

update

The construction phase for the hood blister extensions is complete.I got them pulled and primed and will need a little more filler to be ready for paint.
I went ahead and painted the Viper windshield with Krylon acrylic enamel (gloss black) yesterday.I decided that it would help with the smoke contrast at DARKO.
A cold front is coming in right now.Single digits by morning.
AeroStealth will be here with his new C-Max Energi early tomorrow afternoon ,for an over-nighter.We'll scratch our heads to see about a boat tail for her.
He'll have over 1,400-miles of highway data before he makes it home to the Land of Enchantment.
Al is closing the next two weekends,so I'll try and check in from the public library.
I've got drawings to work on and continuing comparative anatomy.
Next warm day I'll get the new distributor installed in Spirit.
The Insight is up to a 44.1 mpg average for trips to town and back.

new distributor = dead truck

It was warmer yesterday and I finally installed the new distributor. It had absolutely no effect.
I had tried 3-different igniters with no effect, but I can't guarantee that they were all serviceable.
I went to Advance Auto this morning and what I have paid $76 in the past,is now up to $304.
I'll look around the internet at some point, but I'm feeling kind a cranky about all this right now.
I'll never get the Insight fixed if the T-100 is going to absorb this much of my income.

I've tried my entire life to have two running vehicles at the same time.
