Yeah, I notice that, in the drought of summer. I've never seen a non-clear but sunny day in January. It's the wind driven dust and agricultural activity of summer that limits visibility.

I suspect we'll have further shelter in place orders this summer, so we may get an opportunity to test these hypothesis.

Well the obvious solution is for people to buy more electric cars.
Power plants are still running, factories are still going, farms are still farming the biggest change in the environment is less driving and reduced oil refinery utilization.
For newmexico we are down 40 to 50% for miles driven Monday through Friday and 60 to 70% less on the weekends compared to last year.

Coronavirus lockdowns are crippling the global drug trade

Quote:
Associated Press interviews with nearly two dozen law enforcement officials and trafficking experts found Mexican and Colombian cartels are still plying their trade as evidenced by recent drug seizures but the lockdowns that have turned cities into ghost towns are disrupting everything from production to transport to sales.

WSJ: "Millions of Credit-Card Customers Can’t Pay Their Bills. Lenders Are Bracing for Impact.
Credit-card debt kept many consumers afloat. Now that the debt bubble is bursting, lenders and borrowers alike are preparing for pain."
No hyperlink in case aerohead sees the thread and hyperventilates.

I've seen the whole trajectory from Diner's Club in the mid-1950s to the [hopeful] end of credit cards today. Is it not suspicious that they offer 'cash/points back' if you submit all your financial transactions to a central authority?

Yeah you're financial denier, how dare you question the financial establishment.
Unless you're a banking executive you cant possibly understand how complex it all is.
Lol.

That reminds me I need to pay mine off.

If card swiping fees are rolled into prices everywhere, I'm actually pretty pleased to recoup some of that with a rewards card. But yeah, it's a bad time to be in the unsecured debt business.

Its a free country if people want to drink bleach or lysol, they should be able to.
Then I won't have to worry about any further stupidity from them.
