It's hard to revisit a point that's off base.

You're right, the briefings needed rebranding. Dr Birx pointed out that they weren't critical things that networks needed to air live in their entirety, they were just a chance for the world to watch a boomer grapple with new information.

Quote:
When he gets new information, he likes to talk that through out loud and really have that dialogue — and so that’s what dialogue he was having. I think he just saw the information at the time immediately before the press conference and he was still digesting that information.
Although I'd go with restructuring them, not just rebranding them.

Made me look. The point was that he never said 'Lysol'. They had to get the Lysol guy to say 'Don't do what he didn't say to do.' Did you catch the part about manufacturing consent?

Even Crowder veers off into infra-red light. UV is divided into 4 'colors'. UVA is closest to visible light and not as hazardous as UVB-D. People ingest disinfectant — honey.

I'm convinced I contracted The Plague in January of this year. It's now being acknowledged as present at that time. I beat it with a 'nebulizer', a Kaz Therasteam personal steam inhaler spiked with Wahlgren's Vaporizing Steam Liquid (active ingredient is Camphor). The reason it worked is I stopped it in my estauchian tubes.

Maybe it was a regular flu, but I've never had anything come in through the lacrimals like that before.

Thanks for allowing I'm right about something. I look forward to seeing how Kayleigh McNenany handles the press.

What are your views on Noam Chomsky and his 1988 theory of manufactured consent. Are you familiar with Marshall McLuhan?

They had Lysol corp support the narrative and Youtube took down Healight's video for the NYT. As you can see for yourself:

edit:
I try to listen to all sides, my next stop was BoingBoing, where I find this:
Quote:
confessions of a murderer
Trump: 'There has been so much unnecessary death in this country'
Xeni Jardin
Xeni Jardin was a crackpot before the brain cancer. She says "Still blaming Obama, aren't you" without any basis.

2nd edit:
As per usual Fark is more evenhanded:
The usual 'let's all drink it' comments are there but they come across as sarcasm.

Oh the post where you broke vBulletin.

Well there's a few ways UV or "disinfectant" is used to treat illnesses.

Name a bigger brand of disinfectant than Lysol. Xerox, Kleenex and Photoshop are familiar with their brands being conflated with the category they're in.

Manufactured consent, false choices, call it what you will, it's spot on. We're all cogs in their machine, trying to get free. I even hate the things I'm a fan of, because I understand how contrived the things I've been taught to like are. Kind of like I fight with you because you're generally right on, but in a way that I find off base, most likely because you're off base in a slightly different way than I am. The only answer for which is internet hatred. Sorry, Darin, but there's nothing we can do.

I've never been a fan of McLuhan, though, because I was introduced to him by a high school teacher who did little more than repeat "the medium is the message" over and over. I was already tired enough of people repeating catchphrases that even just hearing McLuhan's name turns me away.

See the problem here?

My favorite Marshall McLuhan moment is in Annie Hall when Woody Allen drags him out from behind a standee in the theater lobby and has him explain to the obnoxious twit, that "actually, you have my entire fallacy wrong."

I appreciate whatever strange conversation is happening here. It's kind of like reading a regular book while high.
